Strengths in Your Faith Community
CSEC Learning Modules for Ministry Leaders
We know how effective learning about and applying knowledge of strengths is for the individual, but it can be even more helpful when applied to your faith community ministry. In this three-session workshop:
You will learn about the concept of a “strength” and have the opportunity to articulate some of your personal strengths.
You will also learn about how to be more intentional about the strengths of your faith community. Along with one or two of your cohorts, you can work with other faith communities to determine the community strengths, successes, challenges, and formulate a strengths and engagement ministry that will be a great fit for your faith community members.
The facilitator for Strengths in Your Faith Community is Mary Kennedy, a Gallup Certified Faith Facilitator, who has worked with parishes in Minnesota to assist them in starting up strengths and engagement ministries in their parishes. Mary has presented workshops on strengths through the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis and presented at the International Catholic Stewardship Conferences.
