CSEC offers training opportunities via Zoom to equip ministry leaders to facilitate and implement strengths-based talent development gift ministries and culture in their faith community.

Talents in Christian Discipleship© (TCD) Learning Module 1: Explore Your Talents
Fee: $40
How can you and those in your ministry context be more intentional about your God-given gifts? Attending Talents in Christian Discipleship© (TCD) Learning Module 1: Explore Your Talents will introduce you to tools and practices to help you and those you serve better articulate, celebrate, cultivate, and use your God-given gifts in all aspects of life.
The TCD Learning Module delivery approach is designed for CSEC members who want a strengths-based talent development foundation required for leading faith-based gift ministries and facilitating talent/strengths small group processes.
As a learning module participant, you will learn how to use the Gallup CliftonStrengths® (StrengthsFinder®) talent assessment, which gives you a starting place in which to articulate your unique talents, the foundation for your strengths.
The learning module includes:
30-minute Prep Video
Module Tool Kit (in PDF format, ready to print)
Three Group Zoom Sessions
Access to Downloadable Small Group Processes

The facilitator for TCD Learning Module is Martha Buelt.
The next Learning Module 1 Zoom sessions will be offered October 12, 19, 26 at 10:00 AM (Central time). Online Registration will open on September 1st.

Strengths in Our Faith Community Cohort Fee $90*
*$90 cohort fee is for up to three participants per faith community.
We know how effective learning about and applying knowledge of strengths is for the individual, but it can be even more helpful when applied to your faith community ministry. In this two-session workshop, you and one or two of your cohorts can work with other faith communities to determine the community strengths, successes, challenges, and formulate a strengths and engagement ministry that will be a great fit for your faith community members.
The facilitator for the Strengths in Our Faith Community training is Mary Kennedy, a Gallup Certified Faith Facilitator, who has worked with parishes in Minnesota to assist them in starting up strengths and engagement ministries in their parishes. Mary has presented workshops on strengths through the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis and presented at the International Catholic Stewardship Conferences.

Prerequisite: At least one person in your three-person cohort needs to have completed CSEC’s TCD Learning Module 1 OR have attended at least one Gallup coaches training.
